ODC certification
Being a member of ODC means being part of a reliable organization that is recognized by publishers and by advertising decision-makers.
For more than 30 years, ODC has been providing advertisers and media planners with reliable information on the circulation of member publications. In order to ensure that the circulation data that is collected is reliable and accurate, strict rules apply. For example, a publication must exist for at least six months before it can join ODC.
ODC entrusts Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche with the mandate of certifying the information provided by each of its members. The auditors execute this mandate by visiting the publication sites at least once every 18 months to conduct the audit, which generally involves several steps, including reviewing circulation methods, conducting surveys, obtaining confirmations from printers and distributors, analyzing circulation, etc.
